Product Sales Manager

AnQore is looking for a self-propelling Product Sales Manager to strengthen our B2B Sales Team in Urmond, the Netherlands. In this position you will be responsible to establish the optimal commercial conditions for safe and secure supply of our range of chemical products into the ABS/SAN, Nitrile Rubber, Acrylamide, Carbon Fiber, and Specialty Chemicals markets in Europe.

We are looking for an individual who can fully manage her or his own sales process. For example draft contracts, set pricing levels, prepare and execute commercial negotiations on senior level, make volume commitments, drive credit management, and make forecasts for the supply and operations plan. You will act as face to, and voice of, the customer to establish sales in line with the sales plan. Managing the long standing relationships with a limited number of customers is a key part of the job. We expect you to actively gather and share customer, competitive and end market information.

Our compact sales and marketing team works closely together and we provide backup for each other’s accounts, enabling continuous learning from your colleagues and vice versa.

To ensure a hassle free experience for your customers, you will work closely with a range of internal functions, most notably our Customer Service & Logistics team and our Quality team. You will have the opportunity to manage selected distributors in Europe and Asia. Moreover, you will represent AnQore on several trade fairs in Europe and Asia.

Key responsibilities

We serve many different end markets and a wide range of customer sizes. We do this with a limited number of products. Understanding how to serve these very different end markets and customer needs will be your main challenge. We have a dedicated small organization, with lots of opportunities for learning and taking on additional responsibilities and projects. One of our strengths is ‘deliver what we promise’, which gives the organization a strong drive for results. There are many stakeholders, internally and externally, that have different expectations and needs.

This position is ideal for a chemical professional seeking commercial experience, a purchase professional looking to move into sales or for a sales manager looking to move into the chemical industry. It is a commercial role, with plenty of room for self-initiative.

We are looking for someone who promotes safety and is profound aware of responsible care and product stewardship and who is able to communicate in a clear, concise and professional manner across all organizational levels. Being able to effectively manage projects will be beneficial.

Requirements

  • A commitment to work safely and ethically and provide excellent customer service
  • Master’s (Engineering) Degree in Chemistry, Business Administration or related field; or Bachelor’s degree with significant experience
  • 7 – 10 years industry sales, purchasing or negotiation experience with a proven track record of success
  • Knowledge of a downstream industry would be an advantage
  • Proven ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment; team player
  • Good listening, key account management and negotiation skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Good communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills required
  • Ability to travel including day and occasional multiple overnight trips
